Patna: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for 13 districts across Bihar, forecasting heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. The severe weather, driven by active monsoon conditions, is expected to impact 85 blocks across the state into late Tuesday evening.

The weather warning covers several key regions, with severe weather conditions expected in Patna district where heavy rain and lightning predicted in 16 blocks, including Barh, Mokama, Masaurhi, Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, and Paliganj.
